I remember my Mom carrying a pocket planner when I was a kid. Usually it was one of those checkbook sized ones (or maybe it when in your checkbook? I can't remember)
I've just been using one planner, but occasionally it's sort of big to lug around, and sometimes I was something that is simple that just has the basic schedule on it and not much else - which is why I think this would be perfect:
