Reality sets in...
Colin and I made the decision to send our save the dates out via e-mail (and refer them to our wedding website) because it made sense. We are planning and paying for a lot of our own wedding, and we are on a really tight budget.
I designed this as our save the date:
I've roughly planned the invitations as well. Without giving away too much, they will be the inside of a book and involve library cards (old school!)

This is a wonderful idea :) and the invitations already sound amazing. Ideas like this will mean so much more to you, because it will be much more special than doing everything traditionally.
Enjoy every moment :) it goes by soo fast. Everybody says it, but it's 100% true.
