Somehow between our car and my parent's house I lost my glasses. I found my glasses case and got all giddy at the thought of being able to read without squinting, but I opened it only to be greeted with a few specks of dust. So meanwhile, I've been viewing the world through my one "good eye" and my "almost blind eye" has been on a permanent vacation. Oy -- The headaches that have occured.
Worried I wouldn't be able to come up with the cash for new frames I remembered reading about Warby Parker on several blogs via google reader. Vintage-inspired frames for $100, talk about a dream come true. I found a lovely pair on the site, and with the help of an ever-loving partner (who read me my prescription numbers so I could fill out the form) I am soon to be the owner of these lovely frames -
I'm so excited! Finally no more scratched lenses, and I'll be able to read the fine print again!
