1.   I feel happy when      i'm doing something outdoors with Colin. when I'm with my family. when my dogs make me smile by doing something silly   .

2.  I get silly when    i start making cheesy jokes. i just start going, and i can't stop!   .

3.  Something that makes me sad is       watching someone i love get hurt   .

4.  Something that makes me annoyed is   forgetting my glasses    .

5.  A time that I've been truly surprised was        i can't remember! but it's probably my fault, since i am horrible at waiting for surprises (i always try guesses!)  .

6.  I am so thankful for        colin. he takes care of me when i'm feeling sick, comforts me when i'm sad, and takes an earful when i want to babble about something i've learned     .

7.  I feel loved when       people do small/little gestures for me. it's those little touches that mean the most to me        .

1.   I wish      I could start school over again. I may do a varied version of that soon. we shall see! But more than that, I wish I could fastforward Colin through school, I know he is itching to be done!     .

2.  Yesterday I   I had a stressful afternoon that followed with a meltdown. Ate a cupcake  .

3.  Today I will       hang out with C and continue to be his nurse (post-wisdom-surgery) Run some errands.   .

4.  Tomorrow I will   (i can keep part of lauren'a answer here...) go to Crafty Wonderland with my friends! head to voodoo donut in celebration of colin eating semi-solid foods   .

5.  Maybe      i'll get a few christmas presents @ CW .

6.  Someday         I hope to be in a career I love, have Colin be in a career her loves, and maybe have a few little Colin/Allison's running around   .

7.  I love         days that it seems like everything just might be alright     .

1.   The most spontaneous thing I've ever done was      back when colin and i had only been dating for a bit, we decided to take a spontaneous trip to oregon (we were obviously still living in california at that point) we basically said, "Wouldn't it be fun to go to oregon?" and we both agreed, and left a day or two later. Which, is totally against the normal "OCD" planner I am.

2.  The best gift I've ever received was    colin made me this little wedding book to plan stuff in. it was so thoughtful and unexpected, and meant the world to me  .

3.  A time that I was truly and genuinely surprised was       i hate surprises. i know, that makes me totally boring. but i usually pry them out, or guess all the surprises colin tries to plan. i'm no fun!    .

4.  I can't leave the house without        my cell& bag   .

5.  My favorite day of the week is      wednesday    because      i volunteer in the NICU, and get to hold tiny, sick babies who really need a warm body to hold them close. although it's hard, and often sad, it is really rewarding. Then I get to come home and hang out with C., since it's his day off    .

6.  Something that can always make me laugh is      my animals. they are totally goofy!    .

7.  My perfect day would include       sleeping in, cuddling with my animals in bed, breakfast burritos, and hanging out with C.      .

1.   My Halloween plans this year will include      celebrating my anniversary! six years of being together.

2.  My most memorable Halloween costume was   dressing up as a girl from the '80s and having it be my first day of work in retail. people couldn't decide if that's how i always dressed, or if it was a costume  .

3.  For Halloween this year I'm going to be       i have some cat ears, i might put those on. but for the first time in awhile we live some place where kids won't be stopping by for candy     .

4.  I've always wanted to dress up as    something super elaborate, but i was never a "planner" for my costume, and these days i rarely "go out" on halloween   .

5.  Halloween free association!      candy corn, pumpkin carving, colin drinking cider .

6.  The worst thing about Halloween is        older kids not dressing up and bugging you after you've run out of candy    .

7.  The best thing about Halloween is       my anniversary (& clearance candy the next day!)      .

Fill in the Blank Friday!

 

1.   The first thing I do in the morning to start my day is       take the dogs on a short walk & check my e-mail  .

2.  Today I wish I was   feeling better. i've been under the weather with some sort of stomach bug  .

3.  If I had an extra $100 in my bank account today I'd       get an iphone! but more realistically, take my love out to a nice lunch and stop by powells after    .

4.  Tomorrow     lay low at home and try to feel better!  .

5.  Two things that don't go together are     my bangs (i have naturally wavy hair) + portland .

6.  Something I can never pass up at the grocery store is        soda. seriously, diet coke and I are BFF's    .

7.  The last time I tried something new was        I tried a Kolache from a cute cafe the other day. It was amazing! My favorite was the one filled with Nutella.     .

It's been awhile (Fill in the Blank Friday)

1.   When I get a day to myself I like to       internet browse, make art, organize, & watch ridiculously girly movies.

2.  High school was....      Un-highschool-like for me. I miss being involved in Journalism/Design. I don't miss the highschool angst-emotions  .

3.  A little dream I have is       to be in a job i love, and to have Colin in a  job he loves.  .

4.  A big dream I have is       to live on a farm, grow our own produce, and do design full-time in a converted-barn office  .

5.  If I could drive any car my pick would be     a subaru (oh man, I scream yuppie) .

6.  A time that I felt really and truly beautiful was       the first date colin & i went on   .

7.  Tomorrow I will....       maybe the PDX Collective Sale at The Ace Hotel...but first, i need to do some intense house-cleaning, and look at paper (@ Paper Zone!) for the save the date's.     .

1.  Today for breakfast I ate       nothing yet.  BUT...If I can wait, I'll hold out for something with eggs with Colin.

2.  My go to/never fail recipe      homemade chinese food  .

3.  Something I eat that other people think is weird is       I love croutons on my spaghetti  .

4.  My worst cooking disaster ever was       the cinnamon rolls colin and i spent hours on, and they tasted sort of gross  .

5.  If I could only eat one flavor of ice cream the rest of my life it would be     chocolate with moose tracks. given regular ice cream makes my intestines cry, so i'm stuck with soy ice cream .

6.  One food I hate and avoid at all costs is       anything with a lot of milk in it .

7.  What is your favorite meal?  Breakfast, lunch, or dinner?      I love LOVE breakfast foods. Seriously breakfast burrito _+ me = happy allison     .

1.  My favorite thing about this week has been       spending colin's "weekend" by surprising him to a lovely breakfast at a new restaurant. 

2.  The weather this week has been      summer-ish, but not too hot ... yet.

3.  The last (interesting) item I received in the mail was      some submission for the art collective.

4.  The last movie I saw was       brothers (courtesy netflix)  .

5.  If I could be doing anything I felt like today I would     kidnapping colin from work and throwing the dogs in the car and heading towards water!

6.  As a teenager I was       the tragic artsy type .

7.  I wish I could trade lives for the day with      Colin. Despite being together for almost six years, I still feel like there is so much about him I have yet to learn   .

1.  This weekend for The 4th of July I'll be       hanging out with colin because it will be his day off. we might get crazy and BBQ something while we try to distract our dogs from loud popping noises.    .

2.  Fireworks are      responsible for keeping Colin busy at work on the 4th of july weekend  .

3.  Nothing says summer like       hanging out on the porch in the evenings after its cooled off  .

4.  My favorite summer memory is      any memory that involves hiking and/or vacationing!

5.  My favorite thing about summer is     it's my birthday! hah, well it is my birthday season, but my real favorite thing is that it is the season to eat Otter Pops.

6.  Summer in a word is       HOT. I hate the weather in Sacramento during summer .

7.  If I could choose to have summer or winter year round I'd pick      winter, hands down. I hate heat!
